A house of learning, shaped by purpose.

For thirty-seven years, we have built a school that respects the child, trusts the teacher, and answers to a quiet, unwavering set of beliefs about what an education should feel like.

Our legacy

Measured in lives, not numbers.

Thirty-seven years of unbroken practice. Four campuses, thousands of alumni, and the same insistence on doing one school well.

  • 37

Years of unbroken practice, since the first class walked through the gates in 1988.

  • 12,000

Alumni shaping medicine, design, public service, technology, and more — known to us, staying in touch, leaving their mark.

  • 94

Per-cent of senior students placed at their first-choice university within a month of application.

  • 1:12

Teacher-to-student ratio, held deliberately small to ensure high-quality attention to each learner.

Our Story

Welcome message from the Director

Portrait of Manika Sharma, Director of The Shri Ram School

In her words

Namaste!

Welcome to The Shri Ram School — a learning community in a quieter time, built on a conviction and a commitment to excellence in providing a nurturing space for children.

All the campuses of The Shri Ram Schools are unique, yet bound by the same fabric, and dedicated to a value-driven, balanced education. The Shri Ram School life, carefully laid out, is at the heart of our philosophy: it nurtures distinct, careful, and particular learning that draws out the best in every child, in an environment they feel they belong to.

At The Shri Ram School, we strive to maintain a delicate balance of teaching and learning, providing rigorous academic programmes that challenge and require our students well beyond the call of duty. The opportunities they are afforded — in class, on the field, on the stage — are designed to draw out the leader in every child, and the values that will hold them in good stead.

Mission, philosophy & belief

Three statements the school returns to, again and again.

What we set out to do, the idea that animates the school — and the belief that every single learner has something unique to contribute.

  • Mission

A broad, careful education — in a place worth being.

We promote sound values, self-discipline, and a respect for the rights and dignity of others.

    “High standards, held kindly.”

    — Our practice

  • Philosophy

Education is drawn out from within, not poured in.

The Shri Ram Schools are progressive, secular, child-centred institutions that value thinking, doing, feeling, and belonging.

    “Vidya Dadaati Vinayam.”

    — From knowledge comes humility

  • Belief

Every child is capable — and every child is owed our best.

Academics are woven together with music, theatre, dance, sports, and community service — creating a full, purposeful life.

    “Begin with the child.”

    — Our starting point

Our values

Four values, set down early.

They sit on classroom walls, in report cards, in the morning address. They form the spine of the school.

  • Integrity

Living with honesty, fairness, and a respect for the truth — even when it is the harder path to take.

  • Sensitivity

An attentive regard for other people, for difference, and for the small things that shape a school day.

  • Pursuit of Excellence

High standards held kindly — in scholarship, in the arts, on the field, and in everything we put our name to.

  • Pride in One's Own Heritage

Rooted in the languages, traditions, and stories of India, and open to the world.
